Darren Till is eager to get back into the cage after a rough 2020 and he already has his eyes set on a solid opponent in Uriah Hall.

Darren Till Targeting Return Against Uriah Hall

During his appearance on The MMA Hour yesterday, Till discussed a ton of different topics but focused on his approach to getting back into the cage next year. Ideally, he says he wants to fight in London in the first quarter of 2022 so he can get as many reps in next year as he can.

He says he is targeting Uriah Hall because of his “ugly face” but in all actuality, it may be the perfect fight for both men. For Darren Till it is simple, he could add a big name to his resume, a ranked one at that, and also it would provide him a major boost in terms of momentum inside the division.

For Uriah Hall, it almost offers the same thing with potentially less risk. Till is currently one spot ahead of him in the rankings in the eighth spot but he is also on a stretch of poor performances have just won once in his last five bouts. Hall himself is coming off a loss to Sean Strickland but had won his previous four before that making his last five the polar opposite of what Till has done.

Regardless of how you feel about either man and his current standing in an ever-growing and increasingly crowded but active middleweight division, these two could produce serious fireworks and that is what Till wants and needs.

Regardless of who he fights in London, Darren Till is just looking to get his mojo back. He said clear as day during his interview today when he said “I know what I possess inside of me…I know why all these people believe in me and why I should believe in myself because I’m f-cking good. I know who I am, and that’s all it is. It’s just a few little tweaks and a few little adjustments and I’m right back there. Trust me, I’ll be right back there breaking records and beating all these bests…”

Who are we to doubt Darren Till.
