Two UFC fighters went to battle at Bulldog Fight Night 9 in Gothenburg, Sweden in a freestyle wrestling match. Not your average UFC fighters either, number 10 ranked welterweight Khamzat Chimaev and number six ranked middleweight Jack Hermansson were matched up against each other.

The match between Chimaev and Hermansson was contested at 187 pounds with two three-minute rounds. It headlined the card, which also featured a mixture of boxing and MMA fights.
Chimaev (10-0) is coming off a submission victory against Li Jingliang at UFC 267 on October 30. In his three UFC fights in 2020, the Chechen fighter landed 196 strikes and absorbed just two.
Hermansson (22-6) earned a unanimous decision in his most recent outing against Edmen Shahbazyan in May. Over the course of his last four fights, Hermansson is 2-2.
