On Saturday, November 20, 2021 Miesha Tate will step back inside the Octagon. This time she will be Ketlen Vieira dance partner in the UFC Vegas 43 main event.

After a long layoff, Tate returned to the UFC cage earlier this year and you could not see any rust. The 35-year-old earned a TKO victory over Marian Reneau in the third round of their UFC Vegas 31 contest, which also earned her Performance of the Night honors.

1. Holly Holm – Rear-Naked Choke
One of the biggest fights of her career also happened to be one of the best submissions. At UFC 196, Tate earned the UFC women’s bantamweight championship when she tapped out Holly Holm with a rear-naked choke in the fifth round.
2. Marloes Coenen – Arm-Triangle Choke
The fight against Marloes Coenen was a very important fight in MMA history. It was for the Strikeforce women’s bantamweight championship and was showcased live in the co-main event of Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson. Tate grappled her way to a fourth-round arm-triangle victory to earn the title.
3. Julie Kedzie – Armbar
In 2012, Tate showcased her jiu-jitsu skills once again against Julie Kedzie. Tate was rocked on a number of occasions in their preliminary bout but was able to lock up a third-round armbar to seal the victory.
4. Lizbeth Carreiro – Von Flue Choke
In just her seventh fight, Tate faced Lizbeth Carreiro for the Freestyle Cage Fighting women’s bantamweight championship. Once again, her submission game came into play. The Von Flue choke is not one that happens all too often in MMA, however, she was able to stop Carreiro with one in the third round to earn the championship.
5. Zoila Frausto – Armbar
Tate made her way through the ranks of Strikeforce by competing on the Challengers cards. In 2010, she fought Zoila Frausto and showcased her submission prowess by snatching up a second-round armbar.
