British Columbia’s own Lupita Godinez is about to embark on history at UFC Vegas 43. In fact, she’s about to crush history.

Lupita Godinez Set to Make History at UFC Vegas 43

The shortest turnaround time for three fights is currently held by Dustin Pague, who fought at UFC on FX 3, UFC on FX 4 and UFC 150, which was a 64-day span.

According to MMA Junkie, Godinez is set to make that look like a lifetime.

If her fight against Konklak Suphisara both make weight for their UFC Vegas 43 showdown, then Godinez will have fought three times in 42 days.

“Loopy” started with UFC Vegas 39 on Oct. 9, 2021, then fought at UFC Vegas 40 on Oct. 16, 2021, and will finish with UFC Vegas 43 on Nov. 20, 2021.

Godinez (6-2) made her Octagon debut against Jessica Penne at UFC Vegas 24 and lost a very close split decision to mark her first career loss. She followed up in her sophomore outing, earning a first-round armbar victory Silvana Gómez Juárez at UFC Vegas 39. And most recently lost a decision to Luana Carolina at UFC Vegas 40.
