Former UFC fighter Norman Parke has signed with Brave Combat Federation and will make his promotional debut at home. “Stormin’ Norman” takes on longtime rival Myles “Magic” Price in a Catchweight of 73 kg, at Brave 13: Euro Evolution, set for June 9th, at the SSE Arena, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Parke will have a familiar foe for his first-ever Brave fight. In 2010, the Northern Ireland representative submitted Price with a guillotine choke, and the two have been rivals ever since. Stormin’ brings an impressive professional record of 24 wins, six losses, one draw and one No Contest. For the UFC, Parke had five wins, three losses, and one draw.
Price, on the other hand, has spent most of his career in British promotions, with the Irishman sustaining a record of nine wins and six losses in 15 professional bouts. He’s coming off a win over Mario Saeed in his last fight, which took place over two years ago, on February of 2016.
Brave 13: Euro Evolution will have a championship main event as current Bantamweight titleholder Stephen Loman rematches challenger Frans Mlambo, Conor McGregor’s training partner. The duo faced each other back at Brave 1, in 2016, when Loman beat Mlambo by unanimous decision. The show will mark the first time Brave Combat Federation will be held in Europe, with Northern Ireland becoming the ninth country to host a Brave show, after Bahrain, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Jordan, and Indonesia.
