Zabit Magomedsharipov officially has an opponent for his debut in the UFC. Zabit will be making his debut on September 2nd against Nick Hein at UFC Rotterdam. This will be Hein’s first fight at 145-lbs.

If you don’t know who Zabit is he is coming into the UFC with a 12-1 record with 10 finishes. He was the featherweight champion in Absolute Championship Berkut leaving with a 6-0 record in the promotion. Magomedsharipov trains under Mark Henry who is known to train fighters such as Frankie Edgar, Eddie Alvarez, Edson Barboza, and many others.

Mark and many of his fighters have been making it known that Zabit deserves a spot in the UFC for quite some time now. Mark himself has said that he believes Magomedsharipov is destined to be a UFC champion very soon. Expect an exciting performance by Zabit he has yet to put on a lack luster performance in his professional career.

If the UFC debut nerves do not get to him, the betting odds will quite likely be for Zabit to win.
